Description:
This role is based in Berlin and you will be part of a team constructing large and highprofile complex projects. This is an ideal opportunity for someone wanting to work for a business unit which is growing in scopeand would be attractive for someone interested in career progression and everyday challenges. You will be the number one Construction Manager on site for projects up to £100M.
* To work closely with the multi discipline departments as well as Health & Safety Manager in planning and delivering the works safely
* To identify problems and offer solutions prior to and duringconstruction
* To review design and shop drawings, the project programme and contribute where necessary
* To assist in thedevelopment of precise and succinct project reports
* Help in the Development of detailed programmes with the project planner& MEP Team
* Assist in ensuring that targets in both production and quality are met
* liaising between trades on site toensure cooperation and collaborative working
* Implement Zero Defects and ensure high quality standards are met
* To work predominantly on site to gauge and measure productivity
* Ensure integration of all stakeholder schedule, progress, reporting and forecasting methods
* Develop and manage the assigned Project Controls team to be efficient and effective
* Assist in developing plans to mitigate the risk and manage optimisation's
* Assist in developing claims/change management
The role requires fluent German and English and a background in large complex construction projects. You will need to be a good communicator to liaise with internal teams, client and subcontractors. You will have experience being hands on and delivering CSA based projects. You will be fully conversant with regulations, standards and all relevant Health & Safety legislation and previous experience of successful implementation on a major project. You will be a hands on Construction Manager and not just look to coordinate a team
