Our client is a leisure group with their own construction division who self-deliver wherever possible on their own construction projects. Schemes are typically £30-£80m each and located across London and surrounding counties. It's a dynamic, progressive environment managing multiple projects at different stages of the project lifecycle and not for the faint hearted!
This role will involve becoming the organisation's "Lead Planner" and you'll effectively be running the planning function for the business. You'll be involved at preconstruction and design stages before then updating and monitoring while projects are live, reporting directly into the Ops Director, Construction Director and Board.
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
* Significant construction planning experience on major UK construction schemes.
* Relevant engineering/construction degree would be advantageous.
*Experience of engaging with senior (and sometimes difficult!) stakeholders.
* Able to work under minimal supervision.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
In return, our client is offering a basic salary of between £85-105,000 per annum plus benefits.
