Planning Engineer/Senior Construction Planner
We currently have a mandate to seek a Planner/Senior Planner to work on two mixed-use schemes in London comprising 130 and 300 residential units respectively.
Our client is an up and coming developer that is experiencing a period of sustained growth. After recently sealing a significant investment, both it's project pipeline and portfolio have increased dramatically, particularly in the "buy to rent" market. Our client works closely with investors and housing bodies to deliver major residential and mixed-use schemes across London, typically consisting of roughly 300 units each but can be anything up to 700+.
The increased workload has meant that our client currently requires a Planner/Senior Planner to become involved in two London-based developments. Both are mixed-use (predominantly residential) with a combination of almost 500 units to deliver across multiple storeys, on complicated sites and one has a particularly awkward steel frame to accommodate. The role will involveworking alongside the Construction Manager and tackling all relevant planning duties on the projects including creating detailed programmes using Asta Powerproject, monitoring/updating progress, progress reporting, critical path analysis, what if analysis, etc.
You will have the following:
* Significant construction planning experience on UK construction projects.
* Largescale project experience is preferred.
* Relevant construction degree.
* Experience of working on complicated London siteswould be advantageous.
* Proficient with Asta Powerproject software.
* Personable individual capable of working in a positive team environment.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
So whats on offer? This ultimately depends on your level of experience but you can expect a salary of between £55,000 and £70,000 per annum plus a travel allowance of circa £5,000 and a substantial (but discretionary) bonus scheme that equates to likely 15-20%.
