Planner looking to breakinto Claims - London (Delay Analyst)

Are you a Construction Planner looking to move into a full-time Delay Analyst/Claims role? Fancy embarking on a role that could lead to you eventually becoming an Expert Witness? If that strikes a chord, we currently have a rare opportunity with a well-established claims business for a client-facing Planner/Planning Engineer to be fully trained into a self-sufficient Delay Analyst/Claims Consultant in their Central London office. What are you waiting for?!

Our client is a well-respected claims consultancy that provide delay analysis and quantum claims services to the construction industryand are often involved at adjudication, mediation and arbitration stages on various major projects across the UK. Well-established, they are led by several experienced Partners that have vast collective claims experience and a history of training and developing enthusiastic Planners & Cost Managers into fully-fledged Claims Consultants. The role will involve initially shadowingan experienced Consultant/Partner on a variety of tasks where you will use your past planning knowledge to analyse programmes,undertake EOT analysis, prepare expert reports, etc.

Our client is seeking the following:

* A strong desire to build a career as a Delay Analyst is above all crucial!
* Previous experience as a Construction Planner on UK-based projects, ideally complicated and large.
* A relevant Construction degree is essential; any Law-related degree would be a huge advantage (either in process or completed).
* Previous exposure to extension of time claims is advantageous.
* Proficient with Primavera P6 andAsta Powerproject software.
* Comfortable working in a client-facing environment, i.e. engaging individual who possesses goodsoft skills.
* Eligible to work in the UK.

In return, our client is offering an initial starting salary of between £50,000and £65,000 per annum plus a benefits package comprising pension, medical insurance and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, regardless of your level of planning, this is a learning position and your salary initially will be restricted until you are capable of running your own commissions.
