Plant Coordinator / Plant Controller
Location: London - Waterloo
Salary: Upto £40,000
One of the countries' leading construction companies specialising in residential - social housing, the private rented sector, private for sale homes, mixed-use, care homes, student accommodation and education projects is recruiting for a Plant Coordinator / Plant Controller to assist with the technical review and hiring of plant and other equipment for construction projects across London and the UK.Job Purpose and key tasks:
Receive and process hire requests.
Organise plant deliveries.
Match and process external hire invoices (cost control).
Receive, off hire and update internal systems for the plant, prior to monthly site invoices.Essential:
Numerate
Previous Construction experience and the ability to review the suitability of different plant and machineries (Excavators, Dumpers, Rollers, MEWPS, Cranes, Forklifts, Concrete Pumps, Lorry loaders, Transport lorries etc), checkthe request and compare this with the manufacturers specification and then choose the best possible solution for the site.
IT literate with previous SAP experience
SSSTS & Crane Supervisor preferred
This role will require travel across sites spanning between Brighton and Cambridge
