A leading semi-state organisation is looking to recruit a Senior Project Managerfor a 12 month contract based at a Dublin City Centre location. The ideal candidate will have experience within utilities, civil and rail works. Ideally they will have worked on rail projects in the past and been responsible for safety aspects. They musthave a construction or engineering background.
The following criteria must be met:
* 10 years experience in complex infrastructure environments
* Engineering/Construction background to degree level
* Extensive knowledge of safety requirements ofrail, civil and infrastructure projects
* Has dealt with construction projects within the rail and infrastructure environment* Has built preferably within Ireland previously and is aware of Irish and EU regulations
* Comfortable with financial aspects of project management
* Prior experience as commercial manager/asset manager coupled with Project Management a criteria ofinterest
* Excellent coordination skills when dealing with staff from a variety of different sectors
* Keen to operate at the highest level within the firm
* Able to predict staffing requirements as per demands and happy to relay information across to HR
* Excellent time management skills
