A leading Tier 1 contractor is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor for a Kilkenny based role. The ideal candidate will have 3 years experience within the built environment. Experience with construction of residential, medical, education or civil engineering an added plus. Ideally located in Kilkenny, Carlow, Laois or Tipperary. The firm are currently entering a 5 year project and have a permanent team in the south east. This role can offer long term career aspects in the South East for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will fulfil the following criteria:
* Third Level qualification in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management or Construction Management
* 3+ years experience in a Quantity Surveyor role on construction projects ideally residential or medical
* Ability to work on large scale projects with high headcount
* Deal with sub-contractors effectively
* Excellent time management skills
* Familiarity with cost management software
* Happy to produceBOQ and measure on site
* Keen to work on projects in the South East
* Excellent work ethic
* Looking for career development
