Salary - £50,000 - £70,000 Per Annum Negotiable Depending on experience + £500 Net Monthly + Apartment + Alltravel paid + Weekly home flights back to the UK + Car Allowance £6000
My client is an international main contractor providing construction solution globally and this role specifically is for their engineering services sector Europe. This role is will be working on a large data centre project the role will be predominantly based in Belgium with travel back to the UK.
This role is suited to an individual driven by high standards and who has a proven record in delivering 2D design surface modelling projects of various sizes and who can demonstrate effective skills and knowledge in either large scale IT telecommunications or MEPconstruction-based projects.
The candidate should also be able to demonstrate experience (or a willingness to develop) 3D design solid modelling skills. In addition, the candidate will be able to show understanding and capability of resolving design issues. The successful candidate will have core competency skills in implementing CAD and able to produce layouts, elevations and schematic drawings in accordance with the project delivery programme.
Responsibility & Duties
* Provide design drawings from at all levels from concept through to design, for installation support of the project and on occasion in support of other projects within the technology division of the business.
* Building services - knowledge of different IT or MEP systems andhow services should be routed and coordinated to support production of co-ordinated working drawings.
* The role will not involve design, but the candidate must have a level of knowledge to support their modelling work.
Experience & Qualification* At least 3 years IT, or MEP engineering CAD experience and who can demonstrate progressive experience in design
* Experience of working on commercial building construction projects and/or large-scale data centre projects
* AutoCAD LT (2012+) or Revit LT (2013+) - modelling services (including creating and maintaining Revit systems), creating views, production of drawings.* Demonstrable Revit MEP experience advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
* Good drawing presentation skills, supported by references and sample work (drawings, models etc). The candidate must have good communication skills andbe able to convey technical issues both orally and in written form
