Health and Safety Officers
Graduate to experienced hires
€30-€60k
A leading M&E Contractor is looking for a number of H&S Officers for roles in Munster. The roles are best suited to those living in Cork, Waterford and Limerick or looking to relocate to in the coming months.
A valid Third Level Qualification within Health and Safety is required for this role.
Experience with Mechanical and Electrical works a definite advantage. Experience within the construction sector also highlydesirable.
A full driving licence is essential.
This is an immediate vacancy and work permits will not be considered. Maximum notice period of 1 month will be considered for this role.
What will you do?
* Work alongside a team of professionals to complete mechanical and electrical projects
* Report on all safety issues as they arise
* Carry out training in Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheel, Working at Heights
* Enforce standards in line with HSA, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001
* Carry out best practice for all works
* Provide tool box talks
* Communicate any issues with fellow members of staff
* Prepare audit materialas required
What do you need?
* Third level qualification in Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, QualityEnvironmental Health and Safety or a related field
* Experience within M&E, construction, facilities management or pharmaceutical projects highly advantageous
* Instructor level in Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheel and working at heights
* Full driving licence
* Availability to start in maximum 4 weeks
* Located or relocating to Cork, Limerick or Waterford. Cork has higher preference.
