A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Engineer. My client are a very well respected Main Contractor with a strong order bookleading into the next three years who are one of the market leaders in the building of new industrial, retail and distributionprojects. They are currently growing at a rapid pace due to their consistency in delivering these projects to a very high standard. They have a huge emphasis on both staff retention and staff development so this is a very rare opportunity to get on board with this company.
Duties
As a Senior Engineer, you will report to a Contracts Manager and will be responsible for;
* Overseeing the Site Engineers within the region
* Attending pre contract meetings with the Clients and the Senior Management Team
* Assisting the Project Managers with their day to day running of their sites
* Be responsible for multiple sites with London and the surrounding counties
* Training and developing junior engineers
* Providing technical assistance to the project team where required
* Coordinating the technical aspects of package handovers when required
* QA where required
* Checking the accuracy of sub-contractors work where required
Skills & Experience
Ideally you will be qualified to HNC levelor above in an engineering or construction related subject, supported by 5+ years practical experience in the role of Site/Senior Engineer.
You should have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a senior engineer where you must have had engineers directlyreporting into you or had experience overseeing multiple sites as the senior engineer.

Requirements
* CSCS Card (essential)
* Must have experience as a Senior Engineer with experience of managing site engineers
* Live within a commutable distance to London and be willing to travel and cover all areas within the M25.
* Available to start by 19th November 2018
