Senior Quantity Surveyor
PermanentLocation - Essex
Salary - £55,000 - £70,000 Per Annum Depending on Experience + 15% - 20% of Annual Salary bonus
A fantastic opportunity is vacant for our client based in Essex offering both a design studio and an on-site manufacturing facility including a state of the art joinery operation. They are uniquely positioned to deliver a complete turnkey operation for all your interior design requirements: project management, procurement, manufacturing and installation.
Delivering prestigious projectsfor elite private clients, developers, main contractors and world-renowned retail stores and brand concessions, they have workedwith some of the world's most exciting and respected brands. They cover retail outlet, hotel, leisure facility, luxury privateresidence or a prestigious office, we offer a completely bespoke approach to match both client aspirations and budgets.
Due to increase workload, they are now looking for 2 Senior Quantity Surveyor from a joinery, carpentry or fit- out to join their team.
Responsibility & Duties
* Preparation of project budgets, checking projects contracts, administering projects Contracts.
* Measurement of project to check quantities against tender allowances.
* Preparation of tender documents for any sub contract works and specialist suppliers.
* Ensure an awareness of key responsibilities under the contract; ensure regular agreement of site instructions with the client. Ensure payments are received on time in accordance with the contractual payment terms; ensure retention monies are released when due.
* Prepare and discuss the final account for projects. Negotiate and agreefinal accounts.
* Prepare monthly Cost Value Reports
Experience & Qualification
* Experience on joinery carpentry and fit out projects
* Minimum of 5 years industry experience
* BSc in Quantity Surveying
* Excellent communication skills* Strong Interpersonal skills
* The understanding and ability to be delivery focused
