A fantastic permanent job-opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager, to join an award-winning construction business on a flagship project.
The employer is an award-winning UK-based main-contractor, with an enviable reputation in the construction industry. They are looking for an experienced candidate, initially to assist in the delivery of a £60m commercial development in South West London. This individual would then be expected to progress with the business, toward more senior positions.
Your Role:
As Senior Site Manager, you will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful delivery of a £60m commercial development.
You will have the full support & resources of the company behind you, to aid you in the successful delivery of your scheme & beyond. You will be supported by your Site Managers, Senior Engineer,Site Engineers, Design Manager, QS and the rest of the project management team.
The employer is a main-contractor, so experience of successful subcontract & stakeholder management is essential. You will be the #2 on the project, so ability to managepressure and people is vital.
Your First Project:
£60m New-build commercial development for a multinational blue-chip client. Works to complete include the RC-frame structure, GRP & brickwork cladding, underground carpark and a large externals package. Completion of the scheme is scheduled for 2020.
Requirements:
* Must have experience delivering projects/contracts with a value of £20m or more
* Should hold formal construction related qualification.
* Must have 10+ years' experience.* Must have specific experience of RC-Framed Building Projects.
* Must live within easy commutable distance of South West London.
* Should be from an engineering background.
* Should have temporary works experience.
* Should have a good understanding of D&B/JCT contracts
* Should be commercially & contractually astute
