Position: Site Engineer (Setting Out)
Location: Oxfordshire
Rate: £250.00 - £300.00 per day
Duration: 6 Months - Commencing ASAP

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Setting Out Site Engineer. My client, a rapidly growing main contractor with a fantastic reputation with a £150 million turnover; are looking to appoint a Site Engineer on a £8m new build steel frame development
Duties
As Site Engineer, you will report to a Project Manager, and will be responsible for;
* Setting Out
* Maintaining line & level control
* Measurements & Calculations
* Interpretation of technical drawings
* Producing as-built andtopographical surveys
* Providing technical assistance to the project team where required
* Coordinating the technical aspects of package handovers
* QA where required
* Checking the accuracy of sub-contractors work where required
Skills & Experience
Ideally you will be qualified to HNC level or above in an engineering or construction related subject, supported by5+ years practical experience in the role of Site Engineer.
Specifically, you should have experience working on large steelframed Buildings, Groundwork Packages or Civil Engineering projects.
