A goodopportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Engineer. My client, a medium sized building contractor with an fantastic reputation with a £100 million turnover; are looking to appoint a Site Engineer to undertake holiday cover on a project in Bedfordshire. There is very strong possibility of continuation / contract extension upon completion ofthis contract.
Duties
As Site Engineer, you will report to the Site Manager and will be responsible for;
* Setting Out
* Maintaining line & level control
* Measurements & Calculations
* Interpretation of technical drawings
* Producing as-built and topographical surveys
* Providing technical assistance to the project team where required
* Coordinatingthe technical aspects of package handovers
* QA where required
* Checking the accuracy of sub-contractors work where required
Skills & Experience
Ideally you will be qualified to HNC level or above in an engineering or construction related subject, supported by 5+ years practical experience in the role of Site Engineer.
Specifically, you should have experience working on large Buildings, Groundwork Packages or Civil Engineering projects.

* CSCS Card (essential)
* Relevant Experience (essential)
* Must be able to operate a Leica TS15 (equipment is on site, provided by the client)
* Live within a commutable distance to Bedfordshire
* Available to start Friday 24th Aug.
