Position: Site Engineer (Setting Out)
Location: Bristol
Rate: £250.00 - £285.00 per day
Duration: 8 Months - Commencing ASAP

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Setting Out Site Engineer. My client, a rapidly growing main contractor with a fantastic reputation with a £150 million turnover; are looking to appoint a Site Engineer on a £11m new build steel frame development
Duties
As Site Engineer, you will report to a Senior Engineer, and willbe responsible for;
* Setting Out
* Maintaining line & level control
* Measurements & Calculations
* Interpretation of technical drawings
* Producing as-built and topographical surveys
* Providing technical assistance to the projectteam where required
* Coordinating the technical aspects of package handovers
* QA where required
* Checking the accuracyof sub-contractors work where required
Skills & Experience
Ideally you will be qualified to HNC level or above in an engineering or construction related subject, supported by 5+ years practical experience in the role of Site Engineer.
Specifically, you should have experience working on large steel framed Buildings, Groundwork Packages or Civil Engineering projects.In return, we're offering ongoing work at a highly competitive rate of pay, in an excellent working environment. As Site Engineer, you will have the full support of the Project Manager, Site Manager and Senior Engineer.
