A good opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Engineer. My client, a very successful large sized building main contractor with an fantastic reputation with a £650 million turnover; are looking to appoint a Site Engineer on a £35m new build industrial development.
Duties
As Site Engineer, you will report to a Senior Engineer, and will be responsible for;
* Setting Out
* Maintaining line & level control
* Measurements & Calculations
* Interpretation of technical drawings* Producing as-built and topographical surveys
* Providing technical assistance to the project team where required
* Coordinating the technical aspects of package handovers
* QA where required
* Checking the accuracy of sub-contractors work whererequired
Skills & Experience
Ideally you will be qualified to HNC level or above in an engineering or construction related subject, supported by 5+ years practical experience in the role of Site Engineer.
Specifically, you should have experience working on large Buildings, Groundwork Packages or Civil Engineering projects.
