A fantastic opportunity hasarisen for an experienced Site Engineer, to join the project team of a Top-10 UK main contractor, on an exciting project in Grays, Essex. The project is a new-build, £20m Commercial facility on brownfield land in an area undergoing a large transformation(A13 Corridor) over the next 5-10 years.
Duties
As Site Engineer, you will report to a Senior Engineer and will be responsible for;
* Setting Out
* Maintaining line & level control
* Measurements & Calculations
* Interpretation oftechnical drawings
* Producing as-built and topographical surveys
* Providing technical assistance to the project team whererequired
* Coordinating the technical aspects of package handovers
* QA where required
* Checking the accuracy of sub-contractors work where required
* Utilising a Leica robotic EDM (TS16) and AutoCAD to undertake the duties above
Skills &Experience
Ideally you will be qualified to HNC level or above in an engineering or construction related subject, supported by 5+ years practical experience in the role of Site Engineer.
Specifically, you should have experience working on large steelframed Buildings, Groundwork Packages or Civil Engineering projects.

* SMSTS (preferable)
* First Aid (preferable)
* Live within a commutable distance to Essex
* Available to start Monday 3rd February* Have your own Laptop with AutoCAD
