Job Role: Supervisor - Repair & Maintenance

We are looking for energetic and hardworking people to join our team in Croydon, working with our prestigious joint venture framework. You will be responsible for ensuring your Repair & Maintenance teams complete their jobs within budget and timescale, whilst maintaining the highest levels of safety and quality. This is a challengingyet rewarding role.
Responsibilities include:
* Maximising all opportunities to achieve the best productivity and efficiencies, related to the management of CDM, planning of labour & plant and resources.
* Promoting and driving continualimprovement and innovative ideas and always share best practice.
* Proactive management of future works and programmes to minimise disruption and failure due to preventable mistakes.
* Dealing with escalated customer queries and ensuring your team strives towards exemplary customer service.
* Liaising with internal & external stakeholders to ensure operational risk is managed effectively.
* Approving and reviewing contractor method statements and issuing Health and Safety documentation.
* Preparing and reviewing risk assessments and undertaking audits.
* Ensuring all team members have the appropriate training/tickets to be compliant and competent.
* Promoting near miss reporting, ensuring issues raised are resolved and lessons learned areshared to embed a positive health and safety culture to include zero harm and zero utility strikes.
* Minimising the risk of fatigue and other well- being issues for the assigned teams.
* Carrying out post safety incident review investigations.
* Carrying out annual appraisals and regular one to ones with direct reports.

Desired Certifications/Tickets:
* Water Hygiene, Green Card
* NRSWA, SSSTS or SMSTS
* First Aid Trained
* Knowledge of CDM working practises
