Tekla - Architectural Metalworking Draughtsman
Salary - £35,000 - £45,000 Per Annum Negotiable Depending on Experience
Hours - 8:00am - 5:30pm
Location - Leighton Buzzard

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with one of our clients who are a metalworking company specialisingin the design, manufacture, supply and installation of architectural metalwork. They also design structural steelwork (primary& secondary), bespoke and standard metalwork, sheet metalwork in both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and a wide range of architectural glass and glazing systems. Typically, their product range encompasses balconies, balustrading, feature staircases, escape stairs, industrial access, glass canopies and light structural steelwork.
Due to continued expansion and a heavy work load, they are now looking for an experienced Tekla - Draughtsmen to join their growing drawing office. The ideal candidate willhave a wealth of experience within the architectural metalwork industry. This role can be temp at the very beginning and slowlyswitch to perm after a short probationary period.
Responsibility & Duties
* Produce Detailed fabrication drawings
*Architectural metalwork detailing, balconies, staircases, glazing systems
* General CAD design of architectural metalwork
*Producing drawings on AutoCAD 2D/ Tekla package.
Experience & Qualification
* Experience of Tekla is essential.
*AutoCAD, Revit Or StruCAD Tekla Advanced Steel advantageous
* Have had experience with architectural metalworking industry
*Portfolio / Examples of construction drawings
* Update GA drawings to received site survey,
* Prepare Fabrication Drawing Package for production (GA's, Assemblies, Single Parts, DXF's & Schedules),
* Liaise with customer, suppliers, design manager, site & workshop
