A fantastic opportunity has arisen with one of our clients who are a metalworking company specialising in the design, manufacture, supply and installation of fabricated metalwork. They supply fabrication, welding & plant maintenance needs to their customers and clients. They specialise in on site and workshop fabrication in their west London fabrication shop.
Due to continued expansion, they are now looking for a Tekla Draughtsmen / Estimator to join their growing drawing office. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural steelwork or architectural metalwork detailing. Contract basis or Perm will be considered. Responsibility & Duties
* Product Detailed fabrication drawings
* Architectural metalwork detailing
* General CAD design of architectural metalwork
* Producing drawings on AutoCAD 2D package & 3D Tekla.
* Price up steelwork / Costs
* Site surveys
Experience & Qualification
* Experience of AutoCAD is essential.
* AutoCAD, Revit Or StruCAD Tekla Advanced Steel advantageous
* Have had experience with architectural metalworking or Structural industry
* Portfolio / Examples of construction drawings
* If you are an experienced draughtsman looking for a new challenge, please get in contact
* Update GA drawings to received site survey,
* Prepare Fabrication Drawing Package for production (GA's, Assemblies, Single Parts, DXF's &Schedules),
* Liaise with customer, suppliers, design manager, site & workshop
