My client is a structural and architectural steelwork fabrication and installation company. They are a family run business looking for an experienced and self-motivated draftsperson. Due to continued expansion, they are now looking for an experienced Tekla Draughtsmen to join their growing drawing office in Harrow. The ideal candidate will have a wealthof experience within the architectural metalwork & structural steelwork industry.
Responsibility & Duties
*Design review meeting with project managers to review the specification, tender drawings, site surveys and connection calculations.
* Generate 3D Tekla models in collaboration with the estimating team. Take off for estimation.
* A3 detailed fabricationand assembly drawings.
* A4 fitting drawings and shaft drawings
Experience & Qualification
* Excellent knowledge of steel design & steel connection details.
* Experience of producing architectural metalwork and structural steel fabrication drawings using Tekla is essential. Knowledge of other software (Revit) would be beneficial.
* Must be able to read and interpret Engineer and Architect drawings and understand and be able to deliver the information from structural steel specificationinto the fabrication drawings.
