Tekla / Solidworks - Structural Design Draughtsman
Permanent
Location - Middlesex
Salary - £30,000 - £40,000 Per Annum Negotiable Depending on experience
Established in 1970s, our client are specialists in fabrication and design limited became incorporated in September 1999 and are now one of the leading specialist engineering companies in their field commercial, residential, retail, education, transport, leisure, stadia and infrastructure sectors. They have worked for clients suchas Network Rail, Balfour Beatty, Carillion and Morgan Sindell.
They specialise in the design, manufacture, supply or supply only, delivery, and installation of architectural metalwork, structural steelwork, bespoke and standard metalwork, sheet metalwork in both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and a wide range of architectural glass and glazing systems, including certified and assured bomb blast resistant solutions for canopies, wall linings & balustrades.
Due to multiple vacancies and projects myclient are now looking for a confident Solidworks / Tekla Steelwork Draughtsmen to assist with detailing across all projects.Responsibility & Duties
* Product Detailed fabrication drawings
* Architectural steel work detailing
* General CAD design of architectural metalwork
* Detailing and drawings of metalwork and glazing systems.
Experience & Qualification
* A minimum 2 years continual use, on one of the following software's Solidworks Or Tekla
* A minimum 2 years' experience in Architectural metalwork
* Experience of TEKLA would be advantageous
* Have been involved with Architectural metalwork within the last 18 months.
* Have had some experience in fabrication.
* Be familiar with BS codes
* Portfolio / Examples of modelling
