3rd Line Support Engineer - Linux - Cambridgeshire
£38,000 - £45,000 + on-call + bonus + package
Concept IT are recruiting for a 3rd line engineer with strong Linux skills to join a growing IT client in Cambridgeshire. The role will respond to incidents logged on the Incident Management system and provide end users with a technical solution within Service Level Agreements.

Key Duties
* Provide a point of technical escalation and expertise - 3rd level
* Provide technical assistance to on-going projects when required.
* Assist in maintainingup time of infrastructure and customer solutions
* Ensure all implemented solutions are backed up with documentation, training and expertise within the Service desk and Support areas.
* There may be a requirement to provide support as part of the 24x7out of hour's rota
* Be available to provide remote or on site service for implementations and migrations, both in and out ofcore hours.
Technical Requirements
* Excellent knowledge of Linux OS
* Previous experience in a 3rd line BAU support capacity
* Complimentary skills with some of the following; Storage Solutions, Backup Technologies, Microsoft Exchange, SQL, Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, Hyper-V,
* Experience monitoring and troubleshooting performance issues
* A keen eye fordocumentation
* Well-developed people skills for customer liaison and problem handling
Salary on offer is £38,000 - £45,000+ on-call + package
