Description:
Concept are currently recruiting an experienced Configuration Supervisor commutable to Theale.
You will be working for a leading IT distribution and support services company within their busy configurationcentre, not only configuring and building IT Hardware for large project wins but will also be responsible for leading and motivating a team of Configuration Technicians.
Role Details:
* Monday - Friday
* 8am - 4.30pm OR 9am - 5.30pm
* Permanentemployment
* £28,000 - £30,000 negotiable salary
Duties:
* Workshop based work - carrying out configurations, imagingand staging on Laptops and PC's
* Hands on work dealing with high volume and specific customer requests
* Working in a large configuration centre, alongside a large amount of other technician's
* Day to day management of a team of technicians - dealing with any absences, lateness, sickness etc
* Monitoring and managing workflows
* Dealing with and managing any internal and external escalations
* Other workshop duties will be required, i.e. moving hardware and loading / unloading equipment readyfor distribution and activity
The Candidate must have/ be able to:

* Be able to delegate effectively
* Be able to have a hands-on approach
* Have knowledge of and be able to adhere to policies and procedures* Be able to liaise with external and internal clients/ colleagues effectively
* Must be happy and willing to carry out non-technical tasks that will be repetitive if support is required
* Be able to work methodically and thoroughly
* Be able to effectively lead a team and provide constructive support whilst ensuring team members are able to complete tasks within given time frame
