This organisation make a low-power, portable electronic device that includes embedded software, a user interface, Bluetooth, GPS and a memory function. It's application is outside in potentially rough environments - so everything from the hardware to the software hasto be pretty robust and to a certain level of quality.
This quality is the reason the manufacturer of these amazing devices,have gone from strength to strength supplying into countries across the globe and constantly investing in R&D.
Operatingout of South West London, they are looking to uphold this standard by appointing new Embedded Systems Engineer. This role requires a true lover of embedded software, someone who knows their way around device drivers and the Linux kernel who can get this impressive hardware up and running.
It's a hands-on design role, taking responsibility for the embedded software requirementsanalysis and architecture design of SOC chip. It's be device driver level across RTOS and Linux.
Skills Needed
* Proficient in Linux Device Driver development
* Knowledge of ARM chips and the working principles of other processors
* Assembly, C,C++
* Familiar with bootloader and Linux kernel
