Lead Developer/ Head of Development
£47,000 + bonus

Code Red Associates are a leading supplier of Permanent & Contract ICT resource to a variety of Blue Chip, SME & expanding organisations throughout the UK. We are currently looking for an experienced Development Lead for a respected organisation with offices in Kent.
The principal responsibilities include the overall responsibility for the prioritisation, allocation and delivery of development projects/tasks. Therole will involve the line management responsibility for the Developers and to develop and maintain key business systems and associated data interfaces and integration. Your role will centre on ensuring core business applications, databases and interfacesare properly maintained and enhanced in collaboration with internal and external application support.
* Experience of managing a development team and leading development projects
* Good team leadership and communication skills
* Experience in the use of development tools, guidelines and conventions including .NET, Microsoft SQL Server (including stored procedures)
* SQL Server Reporting Services inc. reporting on data warehouses
* Scripting skills such as PowerShell
* The creation of Entity Relationship Diagrams, understanding class design etc.
* Highly developed technical analysis and creative problem-solving skills* Ability to communicate complex technical issues to business users
* Ability to proactively manage tasks and prioritise own workload
* Ability to learn new systems and languages
* Good attention to detail while also maintaining a high-level understanding of business requirements
* Ability to analyse data and recommend improvements to data integrity
* Able to develop new systems and processes to deliver better service
* Excellent customer service skills
Qualifications
* IT qualification or comparable relevant experience
* Project management qualification or comparable relevant experience
