HelpDesk Operative - Oxfordshire - £19,000 - £22,000
My client are looking to add a help desk operative to their helpdesk in their head office in Abingdon. This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior 1st line individual looking to progress their IT careerwith an established company.
Operating Hours - Monday to Friday 8-5 / 9-6
The Role
* Providing 1st line support on technical enquiries by phone, email and completing tickets to resolution
* Scheduling Engineers for site visits
* Providing hardware repairs
* Communicating effectively and professionally with clients
Required Skills and Experience
* Proven experience and success as 1st line support
* Ability to use remote support applications.
* Excellent client-facing skills, including ability to handle demanding customers with tact and diplomacy.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Excellent phone manner.
* Basic understanding of networking technologies.
* A working knowledge of supporting IT hardware including printers, desktops, laptops and mobile devices.
* Experience of using Microsoft Active Directory User.
