CENTRAL LONDON

THE OPPORTUNITY:
We're supporting a highly successful company located in central London that is looking to expand their IT operations team due to an increased volume of business. As a result, they are now seeking an IT Manager to join the team.
The successful candidate will workclosely with the Head of IT to ensure the smooth running of the IT function by liaising with and supervising the IT team and a third party supplier. This is an opportunity to be involved in everything it takes to run the IT department. Successful candidates can expect to rapidly progress their career and gain exposure to the company's entire IT Infrastructure.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from an IT Manager / Deputy IT Manager / Assistant IT Manager background looking for a new challenge or someone who has worked with MRI Horizon who is looking for a step up in their career.
THE IT MANAGER ROLE:
* Supervising the IT team on a day to day basis
* Ensuring all technical user queries are resolved
* Managing the relationships with suppliers
* Ensuring MRI Horizon queries are dealt with, working closely with MRI where needed
* Purchasing new and replacement hardware
* Maintaining security of network, data and communications
* Ensuring SharePoint, Intranet and company websites are updated
* Input into the future strategy and roadmap for IT services
* Keep track of spending and costs of the department
* Checking and approving supplier invoices
* Carrying out subject access requests and documenting GDPR activitiesTHE PERSON:
* Previous experience in an IT Manager / Deputy IT Manager / Assistant IT Manager role OR experience workingwith MRI Horizon
* Able to coordinate with colleagues at all levels and maintain relationships with suppliers and third parties
* Strong working knowledge of Windows, Office 365, MS Networking, SharePoint, hosted servers, MPLS, VoIP and IT security
*Confidence to manage a team of 4
* Project management experience
