About this role
A rare opportunity has arisen within an established client of mine, we're looking for a level headed, technologist, with excellent people management experience. This IT Operations Manager will oversee a team of people who areproviding mission critical support for their clients across the global. The ideal candidate will have been exposed to working ina multi-site 247 environment where attention to detail and a sense of urgency is key. This role would suit someone who has is extremely customer focused, strives for operational excellence and is able to motivate a team.
Role and Responsibilities:* Participate in projects with lead in times from 3 months - 3 years
* Provide leadership to a team of people both onsite andremote
* Meet with key stakeholders to review ongoing KPIs and SLAs
* Provide strategy to the overall operations function* Report on performance on an ongoing basis.
Skills required:
* Demonstrated experience in working in a similar environment
* Strong people development and project management experience
* Exposure to databases, software development, cloud
* Demonstrated experience in working in the Telco/Telcoms industry
