ITSupport Engineer - Cambridge
£24-26,000 + package
Concept Resourcing are working with a growing IT Solutions company located in Cambridge, who are looking to add an IT Support Engineer to their support team.
The Role:
The IT Support Engineer will report to the IT Manager/ISM and help to manage IT and network operations, including infrastructure, network management, virus protection, security, server support and enterprise backups.
Key Duties:
* Installation, operation and maintenance of computer systems (Windows/Linux)
* Ability to troubleshoot common hardware and software issues
* Ability to meet deadlines and adjust to priorities
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* General network maintenance
* Configuration of hardware(laptops/desktops/servers/switches)
* Repair IT equipment when necessary
* Management of the backup process (Backup Exec)* Exchange Server management
* Hardware maintenance/upgrades
* Ensuring hardware warranties are in place
Essential Knowledge and Experience:
* Excellent technical knowledge of Windows desktop/server operating systems
* Active directory
* Firewall management
* Networking technologies DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLAN, WiFi etc
* VMware ESXi
* Backup Management (Backup Exec or similar)
Salary on offer is £24-26,000 + benefits
