THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients based within Central London that has grown to become one of the leading real estate development companies throughout the UK. As part of the company's growth plans for 2021, they are now looking to add an IT Support Engineer to the existing team.
As an IT Support Engineer, you will work together with the IT Manager and the wider IT team to ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems. You will be responsible for receiving and resolving both internal and external ITissues for users across the business through a variety of methods.
The role requires a candidate who can keep focused in a high pressured environment, alongside an individual that can think of their feet and wants to have the opportunity to be involvedin everything it takes to run the IT department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Initial point of contact to questions, enquiries, requests and incidents from users
* Log incidents, requests and changes using IT Helpdesk tools (specifically Service Now)* Initiate and maintain communication to end users and 3rd party suppliers at all stages of incidents and requests
* Laptopsand mobile repairs, replacements, upgrades, and deployments
* Create, maintain, and review IT documentation
* Order IT equipment, including researching new models and finding options for specific requirements, engaging with suppliers, and ensuring value
* Management of domains, including ordering new domains, processing renewals, ordering new certificates, and engaging with3rd parties to arrange their application
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate for the IT Support Engineer role will havethe following skills and experience:
* Experience (1-2 years) in a similar technical and support desk
* Active Directory
* Windows Server up to 2019
* Windows 10
* Office 365 (administration preferable)
* SonicWall Firewall
* Networking Principles (DNS/DHCP)
* SCCM
* SharePoint
