THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is exclusively recruiting for an IT Support Technician role for one of our clients in the manufacturing sector. The position is ideally suited to candidates who would enjoy a varied IT role which will expose them to a wide range of different technologies with plenty of opportunity to learn new areas.
Within this position you will be working closely with the IT Manager supporting internal users both remotely and face to face playing an integral part in the organisation providing technical support for hardware and software systems, whilst also being heavily involved with project work.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Troubleshoot, problemsolve and fix and resolve IT issues efficiently and effectively
* Ensure IT Support processes are followed and documented
*Ensure that the asset database is maintained at all times
* Responsible for installing authorised software on desktops/laptops and Servers as required
* Resolving problems with networks, peripherals and other computer systems
* Diagnosing system errors and other issues
* Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
* Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
* Providing technical support across the company (this may be in personor over the phone)
* Setting up accounts for new users

* Active Directory
* Microsoft Access* Windows Sever 2012 - 2019
* Windows Operating Systems
* Office 365
