THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is exclusively recruiting for an IT Support Technician for one of our clients within the manufacturing industry. The position is ideally suited to candidates who would enjoy a varied IT role which will expose them to a wide range of different technologies with plenty of opportunity to be involved with everything it takes to run the IT department.
Within this role you will work alongside a team of dedicated IT professionals supporting internal users. You will act as the main point of contact for end user support dealing with hardware/software issues, whilst helping to plan and execute IT projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from an IT Support Technician / 1st Line Support / IT Helpdesk Technician role to join a growing business with a fantastic opportunity to develop and progress.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide 1st line IT end user support
* Resolving issues and escalating these where necessary* Liaise with external support partners
* Monitor systems and backups
* Order replacement equipment/supplies
* Assistingin ongoing and planned IT projects
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
* Experience in a similar IT Support Technician / 1st Line Support/ IT Helpdesk Technician role
* Active Directory
* Windows Sever 2012 - 2019
* Windows Operating Systems
* Office 365* VMWare/Citrix
* Understanding of Networking principles
