THE COMPANY:
We're exclusively supporting a highly successful business located in Cheshire who are undergoing significant growth. They're now seeking an IT Support Technicianto join the team who can take the responsibility for resolving day to day user issues and be involved within SQL reporting forthe management team.
They seek an individual who is passionate about IT and who is committed to ensuring the smooth running of the business and develop their career with the company.
THE IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN ROLE:
* Reporting to the Operations Director, taking responsibilities for the day-to-day IT matters through the business
* Providing user support, conducting basictroubleshooting, and liaising with external suppliers to resolve issues
* Responsible for the Office 365/O365 Administration,creating users, modifying users, password resets and closing accounts
* Running local software updates across all systems andensuring the network and hardware remain virus free
* Purchasing additional and replacement IT equipment where required
* Supporting the VoIP Telephony system, ensuring it is fully operational and resolving local issues for the user and escalating larger issues with the provider
* Resolving issues around connectivity, printers, and other peripherals
* Working closing withthe external IT Managed Services business to resolve larger technical issues to eliminate business downtime
* Producing SQL reports from the two internal systems for management use
* Ensuring SQL reports are produced within the appropriate time scales* General IT Administration
THE PERSON:
* This is the ideal position for an individual who already has IT Support experience or for an individual who has significant passion to get into an IT position
* A confident communicator who can speak with colleagues of all levels
* Good understanding of general IT systems such as MS Office, Office 365, General Networking, printers
* Experience of producing SQL reports would be a significant advantage, however, if you are technically minded and willingto learn, they will train
