I am working with a very reputable client who is looking for an enthusiastic Java Tech Lead in Reading. If you arelooking for a challenge, then this is role for you.
Your role as Java Tech Lead:
In the Java Tech Lead role, you will be hands on and play an integral part in a team of Java developers. You will be working on a large retail system. Reporting into theHead of Development, you'll be involved in projects that include phone and hand held development, swing clients, web applications and web services.
You will be providing leadership to multiple teams and working collaboratively with Development and Project managers to create and execute development plans. You will be responsible the performance evaluation and management of teammembers. You will be continuously improving the development and testing functions of your team, and be involved in the trainingand mentoring of your team members.
An ideal Java Team Lead candidate will have experience in:
* Java/J2EE
* Expert level knowledge of databases
* MVC frameworks
