Lead Delivery Manager (Agile / Customer Journeys)
6 Months | Remote | £550 - £650 per day
iO Associates are currently seeking a Lead Delivery Manager for an initial 6 month contract which is likely to extend as part of a larger programme of work. You, the successful Lead Delivery Manager will be responsible for the delivery of a major programme and managing the team ofdelivery managers working on that programme.
Skills / Experience required
* Demonstrable experience of building teams based on agile or lean project management methodologies.
* Proven experience of delivering complex business and technical projects using internal and external suppliers
* Experience of using agile and lean methodologies to deliver programmes, projects and products
* Full system lifecycle experience including live service support
* Experience of managing and coaching other delivery managers
* Proven experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity
* understanding of the digital landscape
* Experience in matrix-managing multi-disciplinary teams
* Proven experience in managing cross-dependencies and prioritisation
* Proven experience of managing programme budgets, delivering value for money and forecasting need
* Provenexperience of driving continuous, provable improvements and efficiencies in a delivery programme
Desirable:
* Experienceof transitioning teams from waterfall to agile
* Understanding of a wide range of programme and project management methodologies and how to integrate them into different environments
* Qualifications in agile (e.g CSM) and/or project management (PMP,PRINCE2)
* Technical knowledge of software development gained from either previously being a developer, analyst or testerMy client is looking to undergo interviews towards the end of next week with a view to get someone started in the next 2 weeks.
