Description:
My client in Cardiff are a prestigious government organisation. They're seeking a Lead Statistican / Data Scientist on a three month contractual basis.
The individual will lead ten people across four teams. These teams are:* Official Statistics
* Corporate Insight (MI)
* BI Intelligence
* Operational Research
Experience and skills required:
* The Lead Statistician should have strong analytical and data interpretation skills
* Advanced statistical expertise ina variety of area and topics
* Statistical programming and modelling with experience across a wide variety of topics
* Project management skills, organisational and matrix management skills with the ability to proactively prioritise projects
* Budgeting and resourcing skills
* Leadership and mentoring skills
