My client, an award-winning company providing analytics and security solutions are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Java Engineer. They are the leaders in the signalling security market.
The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of the on-going design and development, but with a focus on developing the core services software for our roaming and security products.
The primary elements of the role are to:
*Design and develop software systems in collaboration with other team members.*Develop software using Java.
We are looking for candidates with the following:
*Commercial experience developing Java applications in an agile development environment.
*Exposure to other languages such as Javascript, Python, etc useful, but not essential.
*Use of development tools such as maven, jenkins, subversion, and IDEs such as IDEA and Eclipse.
Experience required*6+ years commercial development experience
*Experience working in an agile development environment, using test driven development and continuous integration
*Experience of time critical applications
*Experience of mobile telecommunication systems andsignaling
This is a permanent position where you will be based in the company's HQ in North Bristol.
