Network Engineer- London- ﾃつ｣45,000 - ﾃつ｣50,000 + Benefits.
A great opportunity for a Network Engineer to work for one of the biggest VAR in the world. The role it on-site at a household name client's brand new offices in London.
We are currently looking for a technically strong and socially confident permanent Network Engineer to join a large IT services company. This role will involve working in client space, the end client is a technically forward thinking household name.
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working with a Network Infrastructure team and supporting global networks. Experience implementing new systems and maintaining current systems is crucial to this position.
The Role;
* Providing technical support for the telecommunication and network infrastructure
* Assist project teams and recommend viable solutions
* Understanding requirements and diagnosing potential issues
* Providing accurate documentation on key issues
* 3rd party liaison
* Working withCheckpoint Firewalls
Technical Requirements - Must haves
* Troubleshooting and supporting LAN/ WAN wireless networks
*Cisco Meraki Certification, experience of managing Meraki networks
* Advanced Cisco knowledge (CCNP)
* Firewalls and security experience (Checkpoint)
* Experience with Public or Private Clouds
Desirable Requirements
* Hands on experienced configuring, administrating and engineering of Cisco routers and switches, firewalls, multi-segment networks and MPLS WANs
* OSILayer Protocols
* Network monitoring tools (Solarwinds and Thousand Eyes)
* Experienced with Azure Networking
* Customer Facing experience
