My client are a mid-sized managed services provider in Bedford providing a range of services to local and nationwide customers.
They are now looking for a network and security consultant who specialises in cisco routing and switches and checkpoint firewalls. You will need to have a strong background with at least 5 years' experience within networking support, and at least have some working experience creating or implementing HLD's and LLD's. You would also needto provide assistance to the 2nd or 3rd line network teams and act as a senior point of escalation to these teams for issues.Essential
* At least 5 years' experience within a network support role
* Proven consultancy record and be able to createHLD's and LLD's
* Cisco CCNP R&S (OR CCNA working towards CCNP)
* Checkpoint CCSE (OR CCSA training towards CCSE)
* Experience working with Cisco ASA, Cisco Data Centre, VMware, Linux.
* Full UK Driving License
Desirable
* CCNP Security* Previous experience as a technical consultant in Networking and Security
* Managed Services Background.
* IBM knowledge* VCP-DCV
