We are currently working with a market leading software house based in the Tamworth assisting with their search for talented and experienced Web Developers to join their growing team.
The position will see you:
* Taking responsibility for the existing software as a service platform
*Developing new features
* Moving legacy code across to Laravel (This will be led by the successful candidate)
* And moreThe successful candidate for this position will have the following skills and experience:
* 4 years commercial experience as a developer with a heavy weighting to recent PHP developments (we will also consider strong developers with other languages as their core skill)
* Solid MySQL experience as a database administrator
* Strong Object Orientated Programming experience and understanding
* Knowledge of Test Driven Development
* Evidence of Unit Testing
* Experience of HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery
* Proven experience/knowledge of working within an Agile environment
* A strong portfolio of commercial projects
* Experience of frameworks; Zend, Laravel, Codeigniter, Symfony
* Sysadmin experience/knowledge including LAMP and AWS* Knowledge and desire for mobile development
