Description:
My client in Newport, South Wales are seeking a Product Manager on an initial four month contract arrangement.
The successful candidate will join the Business Process Management delivery team to shape through research,collaboration, vision setting and prioritisation the use of the IBM BAW tool. Knowledge and experience of the tool and experience of introducing and shaping a business process model and governance framework are essential.
TYPICAL ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES* Define and own the vision and scope for the use of the product and engage their teams and stakeholders in the developmentof that vision over time.
* Key contact for stakeholders, keeping people informed about the development of their products (e.g. through roadmaps and show and tells)
* Champion their users; reviews research, feedback, data and insights to inform continuous improvement and decide on the priorities for user research and business analysis
* Owns the backlog and leads definition,priority and refinement of stories to ensure they are of sufficient quality to easily pass through research design and development
You'll be an expert in:
* Working as a Product Manager in an agile delivery team introducing Business Process Manangement using the IBM BPM set of tools.
* Understanding users: identifying who they are and what their needs are based on evidence, and translate user stories
* Proposing design approaches or services to meet users' needs
* Capturing and translating userneeds into deliverables
* Implementing best practice in new product or service development
