Description:
I am recruiting for a Project Manager who is commercially experienced with the successful delivery of large/complex Business Change programmes. A good understanding ofcloud migrations (legacy to cloud) would be extremely beneficial.
Location: Remote/Newport
THE ROLE:
* You will report into an established programme board via a hands-on PMO, reporting requirements are milestone, activity, finance, and progressagainst metrics.
* Working closely with business SMEs and the technical team/technical product owner, the project manager is answerable to/directed by the project executive.
* You will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary, highly skilled team focused on the development, delivery and support of changes.
* Legacy scope will increase as this project progresses, and will look at wider transformation across the whole cross-division of the organisation
* You are expected to be adept at delivering complex business change projects, breaking down barriers and planning a higher level and getting into the detail to overcomechallenges when required.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
* A minimum of 4 years experience as a Senior Project Manager
* Highly skilled with mitigating risk by migrating components of business systems from old technology into new technology; identify opportunities to improve/upgrade/transform business processes
* An expert focused on delivering value early
* The ability to work under pressure and respond quickly and decisively to changing circumstances and tight timetables
* An expert in managing stakeholder relationships, with a proven track record of effectively communicating with technical and nontechnical stakeholders at alllevels
* Experienced with Agile techniques/release management (SCRUM, Kanban)
* Proven experience of delivering large complex programmes
* An expert in delivering projects involving legacy technology systems
* Proven experience of leading projectsfor implementing new systems
* Any experience working in the public sector is advantageous
* It is essential that you are able to obtain Security Clearance
