Description:
My client near Portsmouth, Hampshire are seeking an experienced security advisor or security architect forproviding security design and risk advice on digital products being developed to support a large programme. This will be workingwithin project agile-based project teams and providing guidance on the digital product designs coming forward and apply Government security principles and policies, identifying threats and risks from the designs and presenting options for mitigation.
This is a SC Cleared requirement. The length of the requirement is 12 Months.
The successful candidate will:
* Work withinmulti-disciplinary teams within agile processes to deliver high-quality security advice into digital product development.
* Be a point of challenge to business ideas and suggesting changes to existing approaches where security is not being considered asfully as expected
* Have broad knowledge of implementing security for common enterprise application, infrastructure and network technologies, including within cloud environments;
* Be someone who can help with design, bring best practices to bear on technology and business solutions an
* Be a self-directing and proactive to ensure security advice is communicated across the appropriate project teams
Relevant Qualifications Skills and Experience:
* Sound knowledge of government and international security standards and experience of applying these
* Sound knowledge of modern enterprise architectures including data transmission, storage and processing, virtualisation and cloud technologies
* Ability to input and work closely with development teams to ensure security is considered at all development stages of web applications and architecture
* Excellent communicatorand stakeholder manager with experience of working within multi-disciplinary delivery teams
* Experienced security risk advisor or security architect with recognised qualification of CCP, CISSP etc (desirable).
This role is outside of IR35. The dailyrate on offer is £525.00 - £625.00 per day.
