Security Presales CONSULTANT
My client is a global provider of IT & IT security solutions and services. We work withover 1,800 customers from a range of industries around the world.
My client are looking for people who are keen to develop skills, to grow themselves, learn from colleagues and to nurture new members of the team as they aim to double their capacity overthe next 12 months to meet with growing demand.
Location: London
Salary: £40,000-£50,000
Overall Purpose of the Role:
The role is to provide sales and presales support to our customers to identify cyber security issues and design solutions and services to address them.
This role entails identifying sales leads with existing and new customers based on common cyber security problems and areas of risk. The successful candidate will also support the sales team with scoping services and technologiesto meet customer needs.
Essential Presales Skill
The successful candidate will be required to carry out tele-sales campaignsto speak to new and existing customers and identify reliable sales opportunity in the area of cyber security. Demonstrable experience in the below areas is essential:
* Contacting new customers by telephone to initiate conversations
* Identifying leads during customer conversations
* Producing basic statements of works to address common customer security issues
* Strongcapability with Word and SoW production
Essential Technical Skills:
The role requires a generalist security consultant who has a wide range of skills in key areas such as any of the following and they will be professionally qualified in at least one area:
* Antivirus
* Firewalls
* Privileged access management
* Incident response and network monitoring
* Email and web filtering
* Remote access solutions
* Penetration testing
Desirable Technical Skills:
As a multi-faceted cyber security department, they have strong relationships with many vendors and offer services around vendor technologies. Ideally the successful candidate will have specific qualifications or extensive experience with one or more of the below vendor technologies:* Trend Micro
* Thycotic
* CyberArk
* Palo Alto
* Forcepoint
* Gemalto / Thales
* AlienVault
* Mimecast
* OneLogin
Progression:
