2 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT
UP TO £42,000
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients based within Central London that has grown to become one of the leading real estate development companies throughout the UK. As part of the company's growth plans for 2021, they are now looking to add a Senior IT Engineer on a fixed term basis with the view to go permanent.
As a Senior IT Engineer, you will utilise existing experience and knowledge to provide technical support for the internal service desk and project workstreams. The right candidate will also play akey role in both the planning and delivery of internal IT Projects ensuring strong communication with key stakeholders and IT Manager throughout.
The role requires a candidate who can keep focused in a high pressured environment, alongside an individual that can think of their feet and wants to have the opportunity to be involved in everything it takes to run the IT department.RESPONSIBILITIES:
* 3rd Line escalation point for technical queries from in-house helpdesk as well as external consultants to ensure issues are progressed effectively
* Interacts with internal users on all levels to help resolve IT related issues in order to prioritise and answer them in a timely manner
* Administration, maintenance and development of PowerShell scripts.
* Basic administration of SQL databases, executing queries and managing access
* Assist the external MSP by supporting the delivery and on-going maintenance of network security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusiondetection systems
* Assist in the planning and execution of disaster recovery testing and implementing and post-test remediation's where required
* Managing implementation of IT projects through both the hands-on technical delivery and working with external consultants to complete scopes of work.
* Involvement in and managing projects primarily assisting in the scoping, design and implementation through to completion
* Prepare scopes of work, reports, and other documentation for IT projects based ona broad and detailed knowledge of current and emerging technologies
* Assist with the IT Manager with the design and implementation of short- and long-term strategic plans

The ideal candidate for the Senior IT Engineer role will have the following skills and experience:
* Active Directory
* Windows Server up to 2019
* Azure, Intune, Windows Virtual Desktop
* Linux
* SQL
* PowerShell
* Office 365 + tools
* SCCM
* Networking Principles
