SENIOR IT INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER
LONDON
UP TO £60,000 + HYBRID WORK FROM HOME
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is recruiting on our highly successful and growing client based in Central London who are looking to expand their IT team with an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer. You will be working on 3rd line support and overflow 1st/2nd line aswell as getting involved with projects such as Azure Remote Desktop setups and the management of VMware.
Within this position you will be the lead 3rd Line IT engineer for the IT team playing an integral part in the organisation providing technical support for hardware and cloud-based software. You will work closely with external providers dealing with escalated issues, alongside assisting with the design, development and deployment of solutions for the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responding to overflow 1st and 2nd line end user software and hardware incidents
* Work with the IT Manager to ensure any technical issues are addressed, and any training/documentation requirements are identified and implemented
* Support, administer and deliver IT solutions across the company
* Handling 3rd line end user incidents
* VMware management and creation
* Management and design of Cloud Platforms (Azure)
* Update the ticketing system, ensuring the call has been logged and all notes, progress and required actions have been input promptly and accurately
* Liaise closely with business and 3rdparty solution providers
* Assist with implementing, configuring and testing feasible solutions
* Plan and work flexibly todeadlines
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate for the Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer role will have the following skills and experience:
* Experience in a similar Senior IT Support Engineer / 3rd Line Support Engineer / Senior InfrastructureEngineer / Senior IT Engineer role
* Windows Server 2008 - 2019
* VMware
* Able to handle calls from 1st to 3rd line service desk
* Azure Certified
