Concept are currently recruiting fora IT Support Engineer within/ commutable to Bolton
This role is working onsite providing 1st / 2nd line IT support to various internal users within a large education environment
Due to the environment you MUST hold a current/ valid Enhanced CRB check that has been carried out within the past 12 months.
Responsibilities of the role -
* Provide a senior / escalationpoint of contact for day to day IT issues
* Floor walking face to face support across a large campus environment
* Providinga proactive support service as well as diagnosis and fix of various day-to-day ICT System issues including server management, device/printer problems, projector/whiteboard problems, adding users, re-building PC's etc.
* Management and organisation of aJunior ICT Apprentice
* Administration for Windows 7/ 10 Exchange, RAS (Secure ID), Internet and Intranet
* All work completed within agreed SLAs
* Help manage (open, close, update) Service Desk tickets as they are added and be able to prioritise issues that affect
* Delivery of excellent customer service
The ideal candidate should have an excellent working knowledge with the following -
* Support/Troubleshooting of desktops/laptops and associated applications
* User and desktop account administration e.g. Active Directory
* Windows Server and network Infrastructure experience (switches, Wi-Fi)
* Ideally haveexperience of support Apple Mac hardware
* Normal working hours Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30 based on client site.
To beconsidered for the position, you must have a live enhanced CRB check (completed within the last 12 months)
Initial 2-3 month contract with a good chance of extension
Rate - £140 per day (umbrella / Ltd Company)
