Description:
My client are a prestigious government body based in Central London. The organisation are is seeking an experiencedqualitative researcher to work with another Senior Research Officer to conduct this research, which will include working with crime victim support agencies, and victims of crime.
This post requires excellent research and collaboration skills to work effectively with a wide range of people.
The role is a full time contract role (37 hours p/w standard), paying £23.88 per hour. There is the potential needs for occasional working outside office hours and travelling with overnight stays to conduct research activities.
The successful candidate will hold a social science academic background.
Relevant Skills and Experience:* An interest in research and surveys and ability to apply that interest to produce practical outcomes (incl. understanding ofethics in research)
* Attention to detail and ability to work at pace within a change environment
* Good communication skills
* Experience of using social research methods (incl. qualitative research techniques e.g. in-depth interviews and focus group moderation, including design, fieldwork, data analysis and reporting)
* Experience of working with sensitive topics and vulnerable people.
