We urgently require a Senior Software Developer (C#) for a permanent position based in Nottingham. The opportunity is for an experienced Software Engineer,who is looking for an exciting and rewarding position to join an agile software development team. The position is office basedwithin Nottingham City Centre with excellent transport links.
The ideal candidate should have experience and skills in the following areas;
Experience:
- Work as part of a cross-functional Agile development team.
- Follow and encourage strong software engineering practices such as BDD, TDD, SOLID principles, CI, CD and pair programming, help to mentor and lead new and less experienced members of the team to develop these essential skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the design and documentation of complex software systems to meet defined functional and non-functional requirements in partnership with the lead engineers- Liaise with other teams and key individuals in a cross-functional devops environment.
- Troubleshoot functional and performance issues in both development and production systems and help feedback into improved design, implementation and process as appropriate
Skills:
- Developing data-driven software using Microsoft Stack and .NET C#
- Developing cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure
- Building secure and scalable web applications, Rest APIs and services
- Building continuous delivery pipelines to facilitate delivery on demand
- The application of test-driven and behavior-driven development
